While announcing on Facebook the restart of his trainings for the next season, the pole vault world record holder Renaud Lavillenie disclosed the dates of his indoor 2017 competitions
Looking forward to winter’s most important event, Belgrade European Championship, he will meanwhile participate to six events more.
His competitive debut will be very soon, as usual, on the 6th January at Tignes. He will than compete in Merzig on the 14th of January, than in Rouen on the 28th, at home, in Clermont-Ferrand, on the 5th of February and in Berlin on the 10th.
On the 18th of February he will be facing the French Indoor Championship and after a little rest he will be on track again on the 3rd of March for the awaited European Championship.
Lavillenie has a great feeling with indoor competitions and it’s actually indoor that he established the best performance ever of a pole vaulter: he jumped over 6,16 meters. We are looking forward to see “Le Roi” on the field again!
